Prairie Melt can be used in a variety of your favourite dishes such as; macaroni and cheese, pizza, nachos, grilled cheese, burritos, quesadillas, fondues, breads, etc. Prairie melt is also great as a topping for casseroles and burgers.
As a general rule of thumb, Prairie Melt melts using almost any cooking/heating method once it reaches 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Making the healthiest sauce
Melt Prairie Melt in a non-stick saucepan over low heat. Add other sauce ingredients at any stage.
Add it to your favorite toppings
Crumble Prairie Melt on your dish and bake at approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10 to 20 minutes. If broiling on high heat, cook for 2-5 minutes only or until it just begins to brown. Prairie Melt will also melt in the microwave after about 1-2 minutes on high.
Filling sandwiches, quesadillas, tortilla wraps and more!
Spread or crumble Prairie Melt on bread or tortilla. Cook item in a skillet over low heat to allow time for Prairie Melt to melt in the centre.
